A big thanks to our sis-in-law for taking us to Fairchild Garden today. This beautiful botanical garden has been maintained for 75 years. Besides all the stunning flowers and plants, there are different art exhibits throughout the 83 acres. There were many sculptures on display from Africa. The highlight to us was the butterfly pavilion. Taking pictures of butterflies is just as hard as shooting fish ! Butterflies are constantly fluttering around!

Finally got Joe's pix downloaded. Our fishing trip was a few weeks ago when my brother, Mark, came down. sure was great to be out on the boat with him again after such a long recovery of his broken leg. Joe is using my "hand me down" underwater camera and enjoying "shooting " the critters too!

Tuesday was supposed to be around 84 degrees, but the sun never came out, so it was more like 72, which was also the water temperature . The winds had finally let down, so I hopped on an afternoon dive trip with my favorite "6 pack"- at Quiescience Diving Center. Instead of 6 divers on the boat, there was only me and another man who became my " InstaBuddy". He is a professor of Architecture at Iowa State. Nice guy and good buddy- he just followed me around while I took pictures! Looking forward to diving with Stuart when he comes to visit in a few weeks!

Unfortunately, it was not fish! We caught some nice fish today, but they were either inedible( 2 10 lb. Bonitas ), not big enough ( 21" Gag Grouper ) or couldn't get it in the boat (MahiMahi that threw the hook after jumping twice). We did catch a good time being together and enjoying the beautiful day and sunset!
